Software

  • The FTP-Function Software allows for access via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to the NX100/DX100/FS100 robot controllers.
  • The Motosafe Functional Safety Unit (FSU) allows for Yaskawa robots to operate safely through monitoring position and speed with the integrated safety controller. Functions available are:
    • Individual Axis range limitation
    • Safety Range Limitation
    • Individual Axis Speed Monitoring
    • Tool Angle Monitoring
    • Tool Change Monitoring
    • Safety Speed Limitation
  • The MotoLogix platform allows for Yaskawa robots and components to be directly controlled by a PLC. This allows an operator to program the machine without needing prior knowledge of Yaskawa products, and can be interfaced with all major PLC brands and field busses.
  • With MotoModbus, YASKAWA provides a standard interface to almost any HMI (human-machine interface). The configurable interface can transmit variables and information about inputs/outputs. This allows basic, direct communication between the DX100 or FS100 robot controller and any HMI with a compatible Modbus TCP client interface.
  • The MotoOPC software is able to drastically simplify the connection between robots used in manufacturing and business/office applications. This technology is applicable across all different components in manufacturing, as it is structured to not depend on the different standards developed by hardware and software suppliers.
  • MOTOSim EG-VRC is offline programming software for Yaskawa robots, used to create 3D simulations of complex systems. The simulation software uses the same kinematic model as the robot controller and the INFORM language, making it possible to create robot jobs offline.
